Aryann Avenido was an advocate for slow living before she became one for the environment. Little did she know that mindfulness and a low-impact lifestyle go hand-in-hand. Her brand Slo Living which offers alternatives to single-use items we use on a daily basis is focused on promoting this message––that slow and mindful living will result to conscious decisions and conscious decisions will result to better and kinder choices for the planet. If not working on her business and learning about sustainability, she is busy looking through her camera's viewfinder and telling stories through words, Light, and photographs.
Jana, Â the woman behind Zero Basics, Â is a proud animal rights activist and has been a vegan for 10 years. Her frustration with vegan products being expensive and not effective drove her into developing her own line of vegan personal care products. Without any background in business, it took Jana a few years before Zero Basics finally launched in 2017. A year after, she took a leap of faith and decided to go full-time as an entrepreneur.

Monique Obligacion is an advocate of sustainable and waste-free living. She has been doing talks on plastic pollution, zero-waste, ecobricking, urban gardening, and urban composting for various schools, offices, festivals, and organizations since 2016. She is one of the pioneer administrators of Buhay Zero-Waste, a Filipino community with over 35,000 members all trying to reduce the waste they generate in their day-to-day lives. Monique is also the founder of Manila Grows Food, a platform where aspiring gardeners and urban farmers can share gardening and composting experiences with one another.
